The project was born from the family history of the company from a heritage made of tradition and love for the land.
Grandfather Michele’s olive trees have been transmitted from generation to generation, becoming today the creators of an extra virgin olive oil rich in flavor and full of passion.
Monocultivar Coratina
Our lands located in the countryside of Bitonto, Molfetta and Terlizzi hosts approximately 2000 Coratina trees, a cultivar that has found its ideal habitat in this calcareous and stony land.
Coratina extra virgin olive oil is distinguished by an intense fruitiness, with a bitterish and a strong spicy taste. Notes of almond, artichoke and tomato blend together in a passionate aromatic profile, which reflects the strength of the southern land.
Sindi was a DAUGHTER, WIFE, MOTHER and now the inspiring muse of this project.
A dedication of gratitude towards the woman whose name today means
Mother Oil
HISTORICAL TRADITION
The Olive cultivation history in Terlizzi has its roots from the early 1000s, distinguished by a vigorous and considerable panorama of production and a market.
Indeed medieval documents reveal truly innovative techniques of that era with the trees arranged in parallel lines and with manual harvesting regulated by ancient municipal statutes.
